NIE has added a feather to its cap by constructing International standard sports complex. To mark the Diamond jubilee ocasion (2006-07) NIE management through the NIE foundation constructed a hi-tech indoor International standard sports complex. The sports complex has been constructed with a builtup area of 4,000 sq.m. Which costed Rs.Seven Crores. Indoor sports like Basket Ball, Table Tennis, Wrestling, billards, etc can be played to International standards The sports complex can accommodate upto 1,500 spectators. The complex also houses a well equipped modern Gymnasium and Health Centre.
The Diamond Jubilee Sports Complex was inaugurated on July 1^st , 2009 by three distinguished International Sports Personalities.
