Greenergy Rally
As part of celebrations for World Environment Day, ONYX in an association with NIE-CREST had organized “GREENERGY” a cycling rally. The rally was aimed at creating awareness among the participants about carbon footprints and eco friendly measures by visiting places where the latter have been implemented successfully by CREST.
Recruitment Drive
We, Onyx have just completed the first phase of our recruitment drive. Phase II is scheduled for September as the freshman year is due to start then.
Phase I spanned an entire week. Banners and posters at various locations on campus and announcements in classes evoked a lot of interest in the students and drew them to the registration desk in large numbers.
E-week 2010
ONYX has been adjudged the “E Week India Runners Up” at the grand finale of NEN (National Entrepreneurship Network)’s E-week India held at Jyothi Nivas College, Bangalore. ONYX has also been awarded the “Nilima Rovshen Creativity and Innovation Award”, taking the NIE award count to 2, a rare feat achieved only by one other college, in the week-long entrepreneurship extravaganza.
