The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) Mysore has embarked on running an autonomous centre of excellence as Centre for Training in Advanced Technologies (CTAT).
The main objective of CTAT :
- To bridge the gap between Industry and Academia by providing ‘hands on’ practical applications of key technologies across branches.
- To provide world class training on cutting-edge technologies across industry and business spectrums at an affordable cost to industries and corporate. It offers a series of modules taught by industry experts. Trainings are based mainly on experiential learning. The offering of the Centre has already benefited more than 600 students in the first year along with more than a hundred faculty members. Many reputed companies such as L&T, Rangsons Electronics and Unilog Corp have used the services.
