NIEAA is serving as forum to promote and foster good relationship between alumni, present students, Management and teaching faculty. This provides a forum to interact with each other and promote academic, Research and Development activities, organize endowment lectures by distinguished alumni and other professionals, Seminars and Workshops and thus try to expose the students to the state of art technologies in each discipline of engineering. It has also established endowment prize awards to meritorious students of the Institution.  Attempts are made to identify Area Coordinators in different zones of our country and abroad so that they can work more effectively to coordinate and interact with alumni.

The association has set up a healthy tradition of identifying a distinguished alumnus and invites him or her for a special function every year where he/she is honoured, felicitated and presented with a citation during the farewell function for outgoing students.
